Towards Chaotic Modeling of Speech Signals

This paper shows how the chaotic systems theory can be applied to the modeling of speech signals, whose dynamics is highly complex. We verify that, when using a theory that is able to model nonlinear features, speech signals present a highly nonlinear behavior, which could not be inferred from a linear theory.
