Sixth International Workshop on Models and Analysis of Vocal Emissions for Biomedical Applications (MAVEBA 2009)
We discuss a novel low-order massspring model of human vocal folds with incompressible 1D flow. Our model consists of three subsystems: a flow model, a nonsymmetric mass-spring model for the vocal folds, and a resonator representing the vocal tract (VT).
