An Analysis of Pitch in Chinese Spontaneous Speech

In this study, based on spontaneous speech corpus, the FO values and the FO ranges of 79 speakers are analyzed. It is found that when FO value is converted to semitone, there is no difference between the ranges of the two genders. Intonation phrases can be classified according to their pitch range and pitch register.
