[6 Sept 2015] The International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) elected Professor Haizhou Li as its new President (2015-2017) on 6 September 2015. He will succeed Professor Tanja Schultz, who ends her term in the ISCA Board in 2015. Professor Li is currently the Research Director of the Institute for Infocomm Research, and an Adjunct Professor of the National University of Singapore.

[24 July 2015] The ISCA General Assembly will take place in Dresden, Germany in conjunction with INTERSPEECH 2015. The Assembly will begin at 17.30 (5.30 pm) on Tuesday, September 8 and will be held in the main auditorium (Grosser Saal). The General Assembly is open to all members of ISCA and provides an excellent opportunity to actively participate in the meeting and propose suggestions to help make our association even better.
[15 July 2015] During INTERSPEECH 2015, the community will honor ISCA members for their technical merits and service to our association. We are delighted to share with you the great news that Professor Mary E. Beckman will be awarded the 2015 ISCA Medal for Scientific Achievement (see this page for details). She will be the first keynote speaker on Monday 7th September right after the opening ceremony. We are also very happy to let you know that Professor Hiroya Fujisaki will be awarded the 2015 ISCA Special Service Medal. Furthermore, we will honor five members of our community who will be elected as ISCA Fellows.
