ISCA - International Speech |
Code of Conduct for Conference and Workshop Attendees
ISCA is committed to providing a pleasant conference experience without harassment and discrimination for anyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, or physical appearance. We do not tolerate any verbal or non-verbal harassment or discrimination. Please note that a person may feel harassed or discriminated against even if that was not the intent. In particular, sexual innuendo and imagery are not appropriate at any conference event. The promotion of political or religious perspectives is also not appropriate.
Conference participants who engage in inappropriate behavior may be expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizer. If the case is reported, ISCA Ethics Committee will conduct investigation and decide follow-up actions, which may include suspension of future attendance to ISCA-sponsored events and nomination for a Fellow or a board member.
If you are troubled by the behavior of another attendee or notice someone else who is troubled, please speak immediately to a conference staff or send a message to <ethics@isca-speech.org>.
Your concern will be heard in confidence and taken seriously. The anonymity of all parties involved will be respected.
